hands on training

Sure there will be some classroom time. We need to cover the details before we dive in. But what is unique about this training is how we are taking it to the streets!

Chart has partnered with some strategic local breweries and a brewpub so that you can get a hands on view how a brewery operates from production scale, to craft to a brew pub. Each with their own specific needs. Plus, we will have a member of the staff on hand so you can pick their brain and learn what is important to them

Tuesday afternoon will be spent in the classroom getting some basics of brewing. All capped off with 5 hours in the field with four breweries of varying size and scale.

A solid foundation of the inner workings of production breweries and brew pubs is essential in understanding how to sell and service to this niche customer. We will have a veteran brewery consultant on hand to share and answer your questions.
It's not all about carbonating beer. Though that is a big piece of the picture. We will share all of the points that CO2 and Nitrogen touch the brewing process along with the details needed to properly size tanks for each application. We will provide a calculator and questionairre form to help gather the right information in the field.
We will spend the morning getting hands on with tanks and also discussing the details of how each product provides an enhanced value to breweries. This session is not just a technical overview but a time to learn to sell each of the benefits specifically for breweries.
Whether the customer is bottling or canning understanding proper packaging techniques often means the difference between high quality beer and undrinkable spoilage. Our packaging expert will explain the process and considerations for beverage gases and nitrogen dosing.
There are multiple usage points for CO2 in the brewery and not all are in enclosed environments. Learn the best practices for CO2 monitoring and safety to be a consultant to your brewery clients.
Learn more about nitrogen dosing and how it interfaces with beer and coffee packaging to increase quality and decrease operating costs. Plus how it expands market area and new product lines.
Speak with an artchitecture firm that specializes in brewery design and builds to find out details on tank placement and piping requirements along with how to find and network with these firms to get the jump on your competition.
Major changes are coming for food safety as it pertains to CO2 and Nitrogen in beverages. Get the inside scoop on those details and how you can better market your product in light of these upcoming changes.
This session is where the rubber meets the road, literally. We are going to visit 4 different type of brewery operations in the Atlanta area all in the comfort of a luxury coach. Each brewery will have an expert available to share their brewering process and the role beverage gases and liquids play in that process. They will leave plenty of time for Q&A to better understand their needs and how to sell and service to other similarly sized breweries.
